Heartkept is not a medical device, service, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is a personal organizing and note-taking tool for caregivers.
Always seek the advice of your person's physician, nurse, or other qualified health provider with any questions you have about a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read, saw, or organized in this app.

Accepting these terms
By using Heartkept, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacypage. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What we are and what we are not
Heartkept helps caregivers keep notes, build a chapter-by-chapter guide, prepare printable binders, and access calming tools. It does not provide medical advice, connect to hospital systems, or store health information on our servers.
Your entries are stored locally in your own browser using local storage. We do not have access to your notes and cannot recover them if you clear your browser data or lose your device. Use the Backup feature to keep an encrypted copy.
AI-assisted features
A few features (such as Procedure Decoder, Weekly Reflection, and the writing companion) send the text you provide to an AI assistant to generate a response. No AI output is medical advice. Treat every AI response as a starting point, not a decision. Review anything important with a qualified clinician.
Your responsibilities
- Use the app lawfully and respectfully.
- Keep your backup passphrase safe. We cannot reset it.
- Do not rely on this app during a medical emergency; call emergency services.
- Do not share private family information with people you do not trust.
No warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or completely secure, though we work hard to keep it safe and reliable.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Threadkept LLC is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions made based on information you recorded here.
Digital purchases & refunds
All Heartkept purchases — app access, digital manuals, and printable workbooks — are digital products delivered immediately. Because access and files cannot be returned once delivered, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or partial credits. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time to stop future charges; cancelling ends renewal but does not refund the current term. If a file fails to download or your access does not work, contact us and we will fix it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, the updated date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.
